Leaders required
Leaders are required for dance groups. This could be one person or a shared leadership. Line Dancing and Scottish Dancing groups have had to be suspended until a leader can be found. We also would like to set up any other type of dancing group eg. Ballroom, Zumba, Disco etc if you have the skills and would be willing to help keep U3A members fit and healthy.Email:

The original History Group is full, however, if you are interested in history, then why not join this new group and make new friends. Initially, there will be one meeting per month in members’ homes, at 10.30am on the first Thursday, finishing around 12noon. The timeline for the first year will be pre-history upto 1603 (approx.) Possible topics for discussion; Offa’s Dyke; the Roman Empire; Hadrian’s Wall; lives of mediaeval women; men of power; stately homes: Tudor Royal ladies. Other subjects can be decided at the first meeting. Choose your own historical person, place or event to feedback to the group in a relaxed, friendly environment. Due to logistical restrictions, the group will consist of a maximum of eight members. If you would like to join this new group, please let me know as soon as possible. For more details email:
