I am one of two group coordinators running family history groups for the Bramhall u3a. The groups are for people with a range of abilities and include: complete beginners; people who have made some progress with their family tree but left it on the shelf for some time; those who have made significant progress but reached an impasse in their research. We meet in a relaxed home environment where we tell stories, report our progress, and seek advice and support in making further advances in our research. Members have access to Ancestry UK, monthly family history magazines, quarterly society publications, and a number of specialist family history books
