It is a very relaxed group and there has been much fun and laughter as we learnt various Scottish dances. The dances are quite lively so Scottish Country Dancing is good for keeping fit. We organise weekly sessions for dancers on a Friday afternoon. New members are always welcome and if you have not danced before this is fine. The only things you will need to start dancing are a pair of flat comfortable shoes and some energy.
All our sessions are open to members of all U3A's in the NE Cheshire network.
If you are interested in joining us please either contact us by email or phone Sheila, her number is in the paper/email newsletter.
December 2019 Report: View
We have had another enjoyable year learning a wide variety of dances some of which have been challenging both physically and mentally. We are planning to celebrate our 10 years of dancing with the U3A in early May – with a Dance! New members are always welcome so and come and give us a try. Sheila Bruce-Smith
