Report December 2011

The book club meets every month, usually on the 4th Thursday of each month. So far, each member has hosted the club at his or her house, where we are treated to a cup of tea/coffee and a biscuit, as we discuss the current book. We have read a broad range of books, including ‘The Shadow of the Wind’ (Zafon), “Dissolution’ by C.J. Samson and ‘Slam’ by Nick Hornby amongst others. Just to show that it is not all hard work, we’ll meet for Christmas lunch this December! We have limited the group to 10, but I would be happy to get another group started, if there is be enough interest – possibly on say the 3rd/4th Wednesdays in each month.
